The PotenzaTM Microneedling treatment combines ultrafine needles and radiofrequency (RF) radiation to penetrate the top layer of the skin, which stimulates the body’s natural healing mechanism to produce new collagen and elastin. This treatment tightens the skin by means of soft tissue coagulation, diminishes blemishes and promotes the regeneration of elastin and collagen.

It is important to note that every patient has unique skin, and, therefore requires an individual assessment to determine the number of treatments needed. Generally, patients achieve the best results after 3 to 5 treatments. It is recommended that treatment be resumed only after the skin has completely healed, with a gap of four to six weeks between each treatment.

Potenza is a gentle, non-ablative treatment that requires minimal downtime. After the treatment, patients may experience some redness and swelling, which usually subsides within 24-48 hours. The process of building elastin and collagen begins 12-24 weeks after the treatment, and the best results are usually observed at 12-24 weeks after the last treatment. Some patients may notice improvement after the first or second treatment, while others may experience gradual improvement over the next 6 to 12 months. The results may vary from patient to patient.
